Text Message Updates

1. What we text

Scrap-It! Junk Removal texts customers who agree to it about their own request or appointment: appointment confirmations, scheduling updates, crew dispatch and on-the-way notices, reminders, job status, and service follow-up. We do not send marketing or promotional texts. Agreeing to texts is optional and is never a condition of booking or receiving service, and giving us your phone number does not, by itself, sign you up.

2. Agreeing online

Our quote and booking form at scrapit.io/book has an optional checkbox. It starts unchecked, and you can book with or without it. Its wording, with links to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service:

3. Agreeing by phone

When you call us at (631) 502-8307, our team or our phone assistant asks before sending any text, using these exact words:

“Would you like text updates from Scrap-It! Junk Removal about your appointment? We text confirmations, schedule changes, crew arrival notices and job updates. It's optional and not required to book. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. Our Privacy Policy is at scrapit.io/privacy-policy and our Terms of Service are at scrapit.io/terms. Can we text you at this number?”

We text you only if you say yes. Each time someone agrees, online or by phone, we record when and how they agreed and the exact wording they agreed to.

4. After you agree

You receive one confirmation text:

5. Stopping texts and getting help

• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to opt out. You will receive one confirmation text and no further messages. Reply START to sign up again.

• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Privacy
